Woman of God, there are “divine ingredients”
for successful living!
SUCCESS . . .
We all dream about it, we strive for it and have our own individual perceptions of what it is.
In the natural, carnal confines of our fleshly thoughts, success is usually defined as a point in life where we have acquired material wealth and riches — a home, a nice car, and lots of money in the bank.  But do these “things” really make us successful? Do they make us better Christians, spouses, parents and friends? Do they guarantee joy and hapdiviness in our lives? Will they bring us peace and contentment?
More often than not … the answer to these questions is a resounding NO! Yet we find ourselves striving for them anyway.
This worldly concept that the more material riches we have, the more successful we are, leaves people feeling lonely, bitter, unhappy, discontent and unfulfilled. For most people get so caught up in their own success, they completely forget about God. It’s not our material riches that determine our level of success, it’s the way in which we use those riches to glorify God and His Kingdom that signifies how successful we are.
Beyond the realm of material goods, there are some qualities that we can posess that are true signs of successful living. The Word of God tells us in 2 Peter 1:3-8:
[3] ” … His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
[4] Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
[5] And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith, virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
[6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
[7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
[8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Beloved, God has given us the ingredients for a life of success:

KNOWLEDGE
TEMPERANCE
(SELF-CONTROL)
PATIENCE
(PERSEVERANCE)
GODLINESS
BROTHERLY KINDNESS
CHARITY
(LOVE)
Can gifts such as these hold the key to successful living you ask? I dare to say that they do.  For any time we follow the plans that God has mapped out for us in His Word, failure is not an option!
Combine these eight ingredients, Woman of God, and God promises that we shall be neither barren nor unfruitful in our knowledge of Christ. The greater our knowledge of Jesus Christ, the more successful our lives will be.
